Totalität vs 99% partielle — sie sind Welten auseinander

Es ist das wichtigste, was man richtig machen muss. Eine 99% partielle Finsternis ist immer noch Tageslicht; nur innerhalb des schmalen Pfades der Totalität wird der Himmel dunkel, die Temperatur sinkt und die Sonnenkorona erscheint. Wenn du reisen kannst, begib dich in den Pfad.

  • Der Pfad der Totalität ist ein ~290 km breites Band über Nordspanien und die Balearen. Tritt man aus ihm heraus, verschwindet die Sonne nie vollständig.

  • Innerhalb des Pfades wird der Tag für bis zu ~1m 50s zur Nacht — und nur während der Totalität selbst kann man sicher ohne Brille schauen.

  • Bei 99% partielle (Barcelona, Madrid) bleibt es Tageslicht und man muss die zertifizierte Brille die ganze Zeit tragen — keine Totalität, keine Korona.

Bevor du nach oben schaust

Du benötigst zertifizierte Brille für jede Phase

Sonnenfinsternisbrille ist Augensicherheitsausrüstung (PSA), keine Sonnenbrille. Durch normale Sonnenbrillen — oder nicht zertifizierte Filter — in die Sonne zu schauen, kann dauerhafte Schäden verursachen. Du benötigst zertifizierte Brille für die langen partiellen Phasen auf beiden Seiten der Totalität, egal von wo in Spanien du zuschaust.

  • CE Kategorie II, getestet nach EN ISO 12312-2der echte europäische Standard, mit einem QR-Code pro Paar zur Authentizitätsprüfung.

  • Wiederverwendbare Plastikrahmen halten auch für die 2. August 2027 Finsternis über Spanien.

Wann ist die totale Sonnenfinsternis 2026 in Spanien?
12. August 2026, am späten Nachmittag und frühen Abend. Die Totalität zieht ungefähr zwischen 19:30 und 20:30 Uhr Ortszeit über Nordspanien, mit der Sonne tief im westlichen Himmel.
Wo kreuzt der Pfad der Totalität Spanien?
Er tritt über Galicien ein, kreuzt dann Asturien, Kantabrien, Kastilien und León, Aragón, die Küste von Valencia/Castellón und die Balearen. A Coruña, Burgos, Valladolid, Zaragoza, Valencia und Palma de Mallorca liegen alle innerhalb des Pfades.
Werden Madrid und Barcelona die Totalität sehen?
Nein. Beide sehen eine sehr tiefe partielle Finsternis (etwa 99%), bleiben aber knapp außerhalb des Pfades der Totalität. Um die Sonne vollständig verschwinden zu sehen, müsstest du nach Norden in das Band reisen — wir kartieren die nächsten Orte in den obigen regionalen Führern.
Wie lange dauert die Totalität?
Bis zu etwa 1 Minute 50 Sekunden, abhängig davon, wo genau du bist. Orte auf der Mittellinie des Pfades haben die längste Totalität; in der Nähe der Ränder ist sie viel kürzer.
Benötige ich Finsternisbrille für eine partielle Finsternis?
Ja. Für jede partielle Phase musst du zertifizierte Finsternisbrille verwenden. Nur während der kurzen Totalphase, innerhalb des Pfades, kannst du sicher ohne sie schauen — und du musst sie sofort wieder aufsetzen, sobald die Sonne wieder erscheint.
Wo ist der beste Ort zum Zuschauen?
Überall auf der Mittellinie mit einem klaren, niedrigen westlichen Horizont (die Sonne geht kurz nach der Totalität unter). Das Binnenland Kastilien und León und die Mittelmeerküste sind beliebt — siehe die regionalen Führer oben für spezifische Orte.
Wie sieht es mit dem Wetter und den Wolken im August aus?
Im Binnenland sind die Augusthimmel normalerweise klar, während einige Küsten- und Berggebiete bei Sonnenuntergang ein höheres Wolkenrisiko tragen. Habe immer einen alternativen Beobachtungsort innerhalb des Pfades im Falle von Wolken.
