About this design

Our solar eclipse glasses feature the Cipher design, combining certified eye safety with a unique, memorable look. The exterior features a modern black and white color scheme with geometric shapes and abstract patterns, including crosses and lines. The mood is contemporary and minimalist, drawing inspiration from digital or futuristic aesthetics. The design is suitable for a tech-savvy audience or modern unisex wear. Perfect for safely experiencing the 2026 solar eclipse with friends, family, classrooms, or larger public events.

Unlike many low-cost alternatives, these glasses are built with quality and safety as the top priority. The front panel has been increased to 5 cm in height — compared to the common 3.5 cm on cheaper models — reducing light bleed from above and below the glasses. This provides a clearer, more immersive viewing experience, especially during the total eclipse phase.

Our filters use a dual-layer Silver-Black polymer design, where the outer surface is coated with a reflective silver metallic film. This construction is recognized by experts as the industry standard for safe solar viewing, delivering both exceptional eye protection and crisp, natural images of the Sun. Many low-cost imports rely on a single sheet of black polymer, which compromises both clarity and safety.

Each pair is manufactured in the European Union by Absolute Eclipse and independently tested to meet the ISO 12312-2 standard for direct solar observation. They carry the CE certification required for sale in the EU, ensuring full compliance and peace of mind.

Available Pack Sizes:

Usage Guidelines:

How to view safely

Certified — but only if you use them right

  1. 01

    Inspect before every use

Hold a pair up to a bright lamp. If you see pinholes, scratches or tears, do not use that pair — grab another from your pack.

  2. 02

    Put them on first

With the sun out of view, put the glasses on. They fit comfortably over most prescription frames.

  3. 03

    Then look up

Now turn to the sun. After viewing, turn away before removing them. Supervise children at all times.

Do

  • Use only undamaged, certified glasses
  • Store flat, away from heat and moisture
  • Scan the QR code to confirm authenticity

Don't

  • Look through cameras, binoculars or telescopes
  • Use torn, scratched or punctured glasses
  • Use ordinary sunglasses as a substitute

Crystal clear and genuinely certified

Checked the QR code — real certificate. The sun looked sharp and orange, no glare. Bought the 10-pack for the whole family.

Great for our school group

Ordered the 50-pack for a class. Solid card, clear lenses, and the kids loved choosing the art. Would buy again.

Questions, answered

Are these actually safe for looking at the sun?

Yes. Every pair is certified to EN ISO 12312-2:2015 and carries CE Category II marking under Notified Body 0068. The filter blocks 100% of UVA/UVB and 99.999% of visible light. Always inspect a pair before use and follow the safety steps above.

What is the difference between the designs?

Only the printed artwork and the name. The certified lens, the card frame, the fit and the price are identical on every design — so choose purely on looks. You can switch design at any point without losing your selected pack size.

When is the eclipse, and will these arrive in time?

The total solar eclipse crosses parts of Europe on 12 August 2026 — see our where-to-watch guide for the path of totality, and the 2026 eclipse collection for everything you will need. We ship within 24 hours from inside the EU. Demand spikes near the date — ordering early avoids stock-outs.

Which pack size should I get?

A single pair is fine for one viewer. For families or groups the 6-pack is the popular choice; the 10-pack is our best value per pair. Schools and events usually take the 50- or 100-pack — see wholesale for larger runs.

Do they fit over prescription glasses?

Yes. The frame has a wide temple cut-out and sits comfortably over most prescription frames.

What is your returns policy?

Unopened packs can be returned within 30 days for a full refund. For safety reasons we cannot accept opened single pairs unless faulty — if anything is wrong, contact us and we will make it right.
