    Note the outer diameter of the tube or lens and cut a cardboard ring slightly larger than the front of your instrument.

    Lay the film flat and cut a disc with a 10 mm margin on each side. Handle it by the edges without creasing the surface.

About this model

Solární filtrační fólie Absolute Eclipse je flexibilní solární fólie pro bezpečné, přímé pozorování a fotografování Slunce pomocí optických přístrojů. Nařežte fólii na požadovanou velikost a připevněte ji na přední otvor dalekohledu, triedru, pozorovacího dalekohledu nebo objektivu fotoaparátu pro sledování slunečních skvrn, planetárních tranzitů a zatmění Slunce — nebo si vytvořte vlastní solární filtr za zlomek ceny hotového výrobku.

Fólie je aluminizovaný polymer, který propouští maximálně 0,00023 % viditelného světla — optická hustota alespoň OD 5.6 — snižující ultrafialové, viditelné a infračervené záření Slunce na úroveň pohodlnou pro pozorování a vykreslující ostrý, přirozený oranžový sluneční disk s jasnými detaily slunečních skvrn. Materiál filtru je nezávisle testován laboratořemi ICS (akreditovaná zkušební laboratoř podle ISO/IEC 17025).

Dostupné ve třech čtvercových velikostech — 100×100 mm, 150×150 mm a 210×210 mm — vhodné pro cokoli od objektivu fotoaparátu po velký refraktor nebo triedr. Změřte otvor vašeho přístroje, ořízněte fólii tak, aby na každé straně zůstalo alespoň 10 mm přesahu, a připevněte ji na přední otvor pomocí pevného rámu, držáku nebo pásky. Umístěte stříbrnou reflexní stranu směrem ke Slunci a černou stranu směrem k přístroji.

⚠ Bezpečnost

Tento filtr musí být vždy prvním optickým prvkem mezi Sluncem a vaším přístrojem. Nikdy jej neumisťujte za okulár nebo čočku, kde by koncentrované sluneční světlo mohlo propálit a způsobit okamžité, trvalé poškození. Před každým použitím fólii zkontrolujte a nepoužívejte ji, pokud je poškrábaná, proděravěná nebo pomačkaná. Dohlížejte na děti po celou dobu.

How to view safely

Certified — but only if you use them right

  1. 01

    Measure your aperture

    Measure the front aperture of your telescope, binoculars or lens before cutting.

  2. 02

    Cut & mount over the front

    Trim the sheet leaving at least 10 mm overlap on every side, and secure it over the FRONT aperture — never behind the eyepiece or lens.

  3. 03

    Inspect, then observe

    Check the film for pinholes, scratches or creases. Position the silver side towards the Sun and observe. Supervise children at all times.

Do

  • Mount the filter over the FRONT aperture, before any lens
  • Leave at least 10 mm overlap and secure it firmly
  • Face the silver reflective side towards the Sun
  • Inspect the film for damage before every use

Don't

  • Place the filter behind the eyepiece or a lens — it will burn through instantly
  • Use the film if scratched, pinholed or creased
  • Leave gaps where direct sunlight can bypass the filter
  • Leave children unsupervised during observation
